DOROTHY IDAHO ROATCAP Funeral services for longtime Dolores resident, Dorothy Idaho Roatcap will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 2 at Arriola Bible Church with Pastor Kent Slyter officiating. Interment will follow at Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation has been set for Monday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Dorothy was born August 29, 1909 in Montana the daughter of Arthur Paul and Grace Lenore (Palmer) Denny. She passed away at Vista Grande Inn on Friday, May 29, 2009 at the age of 99. Dorothy loved to garden and raise flowers as well as read and cook. Surviving Dorothy are her daughter, Marjie Marie Branson and husband, Reed of Dolores; three grandchildren, Terry W. Branson and wife, Toni, Rodney Branson and wife, Debbie, and Radonna Vinger; great grandchildren, Billy Branson and wife, Amy, Jack Vinger and wife, Christy, Gregg "G.W." Vinger, Chelsea Branson; step-great grandchildren, Nichole Denny, Michelle Simmons, and Monica rast; and eight great great grandchildren; by three brothers, Wayne Denny and wife, Viola of Cortez, Willard Denny and wife, Agnes of Salinas, Calif., Lawson Denny and wife, Lenore of LaGrande, Ore.; and sister, Shirley Hunt of Laton, Calif. Preceding Dorothy in death were her husband, Oliver Mason Roatcap in 1968; daughter, Nora Mae Lisenbury; son-in-law, Burl Lisenbury; grandson, Larry Reed Branson; grandson-in-law, Greg Vinger; and her siblings, Helen Thomas, Emma Swank, Tom Denny, Lee Denny, and Alex Denny.
