Dorothy Arlene Humbracht

DOROTHY ARLENE HUMBRACHT Dorothy Arlene Humbracht, a resident of Vista Grande Inn, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Southwest Memorial Hospital at the age of 85. She was born January 9, 1925 in Capron, Ill. the daughter of John R. and Ellen A. (Olson) Jeffers. Dorothy was a longtime resident of Cortez and a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Surviving Dorothy are her two daughters, Beth McCabe and husband, Jay of Cortez and Barbara J. Humbracht also of Cortez; one grandson, Richard Baxstrom of Edinburgh, Scotland; and her siblings, Ellen Anderson and husband, Eddie of Belvedere, Ill. and Donald Jeffers of South Beloit, Ill. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald S. Humbracht in 2003; and by nine siblings. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 16 at Trinity Lutheran Church.
