Memorial services for Cortez resident Dorothy Ann Montoya will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 4, 2021 at Evangel Assembly of God in Cortez, CO. Pastor Jeff McDonell will officiate.
Dorothy was born July 14, 1950 in Cortez, CO the daughter of Junior and Helen (Chavez) Valdez. She passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at Southwest Memorial Hospital in Cortez, CO at the age of 70.
Surviving Dorothy are her loving spouse, Jerry Montoya of Cortez, CO; her children, Lori Shields of Cortez, CO, Jerome Montoya of Cortez, CO, and Johnny Montoya (Faviola) of Henderson, NV; her siblings, Irene Grindel (Steve) of Albuquerque, NM, Sandra Muniz (Ed) of Ogden, UT, Robert Randall of Ogden, UT, Gary Randall of Albuquerque, NM, and Loretta Lobato of Farmington, NM; ten grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; and the father that raised her, Pat Randall.
