DONNY YAZZIE SHAGGY Funeral services for Donny Yazzie Shaggy, 35 of Shiprock, N.M. will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 17 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel in Cortez. Interment will follow at the Cortez Cemetery. Donny was born at Shiprock on April 30, 1969 to Kee Yazzie Shaggy Sr. and Grace K. (Nez) Shaggy. He passed away at San Juan Regional Medical Center on Saturday, February 12, 2005. Donny was Carpenter Foreman for Navajo Engineering Const. Authority. In his free time he liked working cattle and rodeoing, as well as hunting, fishing and 4-wheeling. Surviving Donny are his children, Samantha Shaggy of Fruitland, N.M. and Robert Willie of Farmington, N.M.; and his sisters and brothers, Lucinda Begay and husband, Leslie Sr., Kee Shaggy Jr. and wife, Jackie, and Carol Washburn and husband, Johnson Jr. all of Shiprock, Keith Shaggy and wife, Dawn of Bloomfield, Cindy Shaggy and Sherry Shaggy both of Shiprock, and Irving Shaggy and wife, Janine of Farmington; and numerous nieces and nephews that he loved.
