Donald Gene Villers

DONALD GENE VILLERS Donald Gene Villers was born October 7, 1931 in Wick, W.V. the son of Garland and Pearl (Holbert) Villers. He passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Mesa View Retirement Home at the age of 84. Donald proudly served his country for six years in the United States Marine Corp. He was an active member in the United States Marine Corp League in Farmington, N.M. for many years. On November 3, 2006, Donald married Jeannie Gafford in Durango. In his spare time, Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing and smoking cigars by a warm campfire. Surviving Donald are his wife Jeannie Gafford Villers of Cortez; his children, Steve Villers, Mark Villers, and Malia Villers, his step-children, Sandra Franks and Bob Gafford; and by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Donald was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial contributions may be made in Donald Villers' name to the Marine Corp League in Farmington, N.M.
