DONALD BRUCE HOFFMAN Don Hoffman passed away suddenly on October 27, 2013. He was born on May 15, 1948 in Denver, Colo. Don was an excellent carpenter and woodworker, as well as an avid outdoorsman who liked to hike, bike and kayak. His love of the mountains led him to climb most of Colorado's fourteeners, and he had trekked and climbed in South America as well. He had a great appreciation of music and enjoyed playing guitar for his friends on many occasions. Don had retired from being a high school psychologist and counselor in the Four Corners area and worked prior to that in Colorado Springs. Don was preceded in death by his mother, Phoebe Everett. Surviving Don are his daughter, Beverly Steele and husband, Dewey; and two granddaughters, Megan and Emily all of Colorado Springs. Don will be missed by all those who appreciated his sense of humor and love of adventure. At Don's request, no service will be held.
