DONA LEE FLANNERY UPTAIN Graveside inurnment services for former area resident Dona Lee Flannery Uptain will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 31 at Lewis Cemetery. Dona was born on August 9, 1940 to Manuel Perry Flannery and Pearl Agnes (Dooley) Flannery in Porterville, Calif. She died Friday, August 14, 2009 in Omaha, Neb. at the age of 69. Surviving Dona are her children, Lynn Rougeau and husband, Frank of Haughton, La., Ron Uptain of Cortez, and Scott Uptain of Papillion, Ne.; and her grandchildren, Laurie Rougeau Bowen and husband, Jonathan of Bossier City, La., Zach Rougeau of Baton Rouge, La., Brett Taylor of Cortez, Cole Uptain of Cortez, Kassie Uptain of Cortez, Stephanie Uptain Marsh and husband, Charles Marsh of Plattsmouth, Neb., and Michael Uptain of Plattmouth, Neb. Dona also leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Alexis Uptain of Cortez, and Addison Marsh of Plattsmouth, Neb.; her siblings, Perry Leslie "Bud" Flannery of Springdale, Ark., Sarah Elizabeth Dozier of Burns, Ore., Nora Bernice Cook of Boise, Idaho, John Larry Wayne Flannery of Visalia, Ca.; and by her twin sister, Ona Mae Powell of Porterville, Calif., Dona was preceded in death by her parents; by her brothers, Steven Wesley Flannery and Walker Thanuel David Flannery; by her daughter-in-law, Candi Uptain; and by her beloved, "Muffy Dog".
