In 1991 he married Rheba Davies (deceased) and they enjoyed 15 years together. During their marriage, they spent time traveling to Mexico, Florida and other tropical destinations. He enjoyed fishing at the Flaugh family cabin, reading novels, and watching his favorite team, the Denver Broncos.
