DOMITILA SOFIA “SOPHIE” STEVENSON

Memorial services for lifelong area resident Domitila Sofia “Sophie” Stevenson will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12 at Victory World Outreach Church.
Sophie was born May 27, 1934 in Dolores the daughter of Pocomio Archibeque and Rebecca Romero Archibeque Sanchez. She passed away on March 3, 2019 at Vista Grande Inn Nursing Home at the age of 84.
Surviving Sophie are her daughters, Sandra Valencia (Robert) of Cortez and Phyllis Cordova of Colorado Springs, Colo.; by 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; and by numerous siblings and families. Sophie was preceded in death by her parents; by her daughters, Mariea Rivera, Flora Harrison, and Corrinia Gurule; by her grandchild, Camille Root; by numerous siblings and in-laws; and by five nephews.
