Dickie Ray Keck

A celebration of life for longtime Cortez resident, Dickie Ray Keck will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 1 at Empire Electric, Calvin Denton Room, potluck luncheon to follow. Dick was born on February 10, 1952 in St. Jo, Tex. to parents Richard Keck and Betty Exum. He passed away on June 18, 2017 at Southwest Memorial Hospital, Cortez at the age of 65. Dick is survived by his children, Dawn Roof and Lucas Keck of Cortez; his grandchildren, Lauren Keck, Michael Roof, and Evan Roof; and his sisters, Landis (Toad) Porter, and Brenda (Rick) O'Brien of Cortez. Dick was preceded in death by his parents, wife Maxine, and sister, Janet. In lieu of flowers, contributions towards burial expenses can be made in Dick's name at the Dolores State Bank.
