Della Norlene Cash

DELLA NORLENE CASH Funeral services for longtime Dove Creek resident Della Norlene Cash will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 21 at the Dove Creek First Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the Dove Creek Cemetery. A visitation has been scheduled for Thursday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Della was born on September 16, 1931 in Neals Creek, Missouri the daughter of Henry and Lucy (Keith) Turner. She passed away on September 16, 2007 at Southwest Memorial Hospital at the age of 76. On September 4, 1948, Della married Reuben Allen Cash in Fredriktown, Missouri. Della was a faithful member of the Locust Grove Church in Black, Missouri. She was also a past Cub Scout Leader. Della loved reading books, flowers, and cooking. She enjoyed watching television. Surviving Della are her children, Cathy Nelson and husband, Joe of Dove Creek, and Ricky Cash also of Dove Creek; her siblings, Joe Turner and wife Wanett of St. Louis, Missouri, Maxine Light of Grand Junction, Mich., Gladine Hendrix of Missouri, Pauline Huffstutler of Middlebrook, Missouri, Loretta Dempsey and husband, Bob of Pilot Knob, Missouri, and Carol Williams and husband, Don of Ironton, Missouri; and her granddaughter, Jodie Lynn Nelson of Macon, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Reuben Cash; and her son, Cecil Henry Cash. Memorial contributions may be made in Della’s name to the Rocky Mountain National Bank in Dove Creek.
