Delilah Najar Kraft

DELILAH NAJAR KRAFT Delilah Najar Kraft known to family and friends as “Lila” passed away at her home on January 15, 2006 at the age of 62. A private service will be held on January 19. Lila was the sixth child of eleven brothers and sisters. She was born to Estanislado and Susanna Najar on January 16, 1943 in Roswell, N.M. She married Stephen L. Kraft on May 1, 1959 and they have been residents of Cortez for 23 years. Lila is survived by her loving husband, Stephen L. Kraft of Cortez; her children, Steve Kraft and wife, Ruth of Alamosa, Colo., Karen Randolph and husband, John, DeIna Robson and husband, Robert all of Cortez, Randy Kraft of Casa Grande, Ariz., and Joni White and husband, Bruce of Cortez; and 14 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She leaves her brothers, Jose O. Najar of Carrizozo, N.M., Pedro Najar of San Jose, Calif., Samuel O. Najar and Daniel O. Najar both of Roswell, N.M.; her sisters, Benina Benavides of Albuquerque, N.M., Delfina Hinsz of Alamogordo, N.M., Frances Hines of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., and Estella Ochoa of San Jose, Calif. Preceding her in death were her parents; and two brothers. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
