DEBRA ANN MAY Funeral services for longtime Towaoc resident Debra Ann May will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 28 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at West Water Cemetery near Blanding, Utah. Visitation has been scheduled for Friday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Ertel Chapel. Debra was born June 27, 1969 in Monticello, Utah the daughter of Donald "Cecil" May and Velda Lee Sacody. She passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at her residence at the age of 46. Debra attended and graduated in 1987 from Riverside Indian School in Anadarko, Okla. She enjoyed cruising around and hanging out with her sisters and family. Debra also liked exploring and traveling. Surviving Debra are her daughter, Classia Hammond of Towaoc; her grandchildren, Tremaine Arnold and Memphis Lone Bear, both of Towaoc; her nieces and nephews that she raised, Franklin Laner Jr., Zadora Weeks, Samora Weeks, Fharo Weeks, and Cameron Collins; her siblings, Corrina Lopez (Mindy Lopez), Shirley May, Tena May, Tracy Weeks, Tonya Weeks, Anita May, and Lorrinda May all of Towaoc, and Amanda May of White Mesa, Utah; and by her aunts, Donna English and Beverly Lehi of Towaoc, Mabel Lehi and Helen Lehi of Tuba City, Ariz. Debra was preceded in death by her parents; by the father of her children, Clayton Hammond; and by her siblings, Junior May, Alvin May and Duane May.
