David Talk

DAVID TALK Funeral services for David Talk, a lifelong resident of Towaoc, will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 28 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Towaoc Cemetery. Visitation has been set for Sunday afternoon from 3 to 5 p.m. at Ertel Chapel. David, or "Big Dave" as his friends called him, was born August 2, 1961 in Cortez the son of Raymond Talk Sr. and Grace Benally. He passed away at his Towaoc home on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at the age of 50. David was an artist known for his pottery painting. Those surviving David are his sisters and brothers, Annabelle Talk of Towaoc, Raymond Talk Jr. of Mancos Creek, Colo., Clara Talk and husband, Norbert Rockwell also of Mancos Creek, Colo., Randy Talk and wife, Kristie of Shiprock N.M. and Dale Talk and wife, Christine also of Shiprock, N.M. David was preceded in death by his parents; and by one brother, Gary Talk.
