DAVID MARK GREENLEE Funeral services for Cortez resident David Mark Greenlee will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 28 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Cortez Cemetery. Pastor Anthony Maes will officiate. David was born on March 5, 1965 in Farmington, N.M. to Garth Howard and Patricia Ann (Crilly) Greenlee. He passed away in Amarillo, Tex. on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at the age of 47. David was a Farmington High School graduate and during his working years he was a carpenter, truck driver, and he also worked in the oil field. He was talented in all endeavors. David was a dedicated Christian; he found a church to attend wherever he lived. He enjoyed fishing, playing guitar and "jammin" with his friends. David's greatest accomplishment was the purchase of his home in Surprise, Ariz. Surviving David are his parents, Garth Greenlee and wife, Sandy of Cortez, and Patricia Hamilton and husband, Paul of Palm Bay, Fla.; his brother, Michael Greenlee of Cortez; his half-brother, Billy Martin of Arizona; and several step-brothers and step-sisters. David was preceded in death by his grandparents, Howard and Gailen Greenlee and Jack and Hazel Crilly. Memorial contributions may be made in David Greenlee's name to your favorite charity.
