David Lloyd Betts

Funeral services for longtime Cortez resident David Lloyd Betts will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 8 at Ertel Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at Goodman Point Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by the Veterans of Montezuma County.
David was born January 24, 1933 in Whittier, California the son of Lloyd and Florence (Warwick) Betts. He passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Valley Inn in Mancos at the age of 85.
Surviving David are his children, Debby Laymon (Robert), Teresa Ryan (Steve), Mistina Sanchez (Brandon) and Matt Betts (Taylor), all of Cortez; five grandchildren, Tori Laymon, Andrew Laymon, Adalyn Betts, Taiven Betts and Elsa Sanchez. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Barbara Jackson.
