DAVID LEE MERRILL Graveside services for Dolores resident David Lee Merrill will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, February 16 at Lebanon Cemetery. Pastor Vic Powell will officiate. Military honors will be provided by Ute Mountain American Legion Post #75. David was born on November 21, 1924 in St. Louis, Mo. the son of William and Elizabeth (Gilmer) Merrill. He passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at Southwest Memorial Hospital at the age of 84. Surviving David is his daughter, Melissa Merrill; and his cousins, Edna and Floyd Parker. David was preceded in death by his parents; and his beloved wife, Caroline Merrill in 2000.
