Dale Winston Gish, Jr.

DALE WINSTON GISH JR. Memorial services for Dale Winston Gish Jr. will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 6 at the Lighthouse Baptist Church. He will be interred with his wife, Karen at Summit Ridge Cemetery. Dale was born the son of Dale Winston Gish Sr. and Kay Strandhagen Gish on Feb. 26, 1963 in Anaheim, Calif. He passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2007 at the age of 44. On June 1, 2001 in Scottsdale, Ariz., Dale married Karen Ann Smith. The couple moved to the Cortez area four years ago. Dale loved working around his home. He was also known for his deep love of music. He was most content with time spent on his tractor and riding his motorcycle. He was a fierce friend to everyone and a wonderful son. Surviving Dale are his mother and step-father, Kay and Jeff Kloosterman of Dolores; his father, Dale Gish Sr. of Arizona; two daughters, Haley Gish and Sidney Gish both of Cortez; two sisters, Shelle Renee Landrum and husband, Kenneth of Queen Creek, Ariz., and Jody Marie Gish of Apache Junction, Ariz.; and his brother, Jeffrey Mitchell Kloosterman and wife, Tonya of Mesa, Ariz. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Dale Gish Jr. with the Lighthouse Baptist Church to benefit the Christian Academy.
