Dale Allan Thayer

DALE ALLAN THAYER Dale Allan Thayer was born on November 12, 1949 in Siren, Wis. the son of Harvey and Marion (Ford) Thayer. He passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at the age of 60. Dale moved to the area 12 years ago after falling in love with the beauty of the outdoors and all the wonderful activities available. Dale especially enjoyed camping and hiking among various other outdoor activities. Dale was known for his big heart and willingness to help anyone in need. He was a talented handyman and could fix almost anything. Dale never knew a stranger and had friends everywhere he went. Dale will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. He was the beloved father to three children. Surviving Dale are his mother, Marion Wilson of Mesa, Ariz.; his children, Dale Allan Thayer Jr. and wife, Stephanie of Dolores, Connie Thayer and Andres Tapia of Edmond, Okla., and Jeremiah Thayer and wife, Tina of Yukon, Okla.; four grandchildren, Delano, Adelita, Jordan, and Noah; and his siblings, Curtis "Bubba" Schultz of Cortez, Joy Rangel of Phoenix, Ariz., and Terri. Dale was preceded in death by his father; and by two sisters, Joani, and Sharon. Memorial contributions may be made in Dale Allan Thayer's name at Dolores State Bank. Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be planned at a later date.
