Heaven Gained an Angel

Cynthia (Cindy) Kay Peabody of Mancos, CO peacefully passed away on June 14, 2023.   Her bright light and big heart left us too soon.

Cindy was born on September 19, 1956, in Sterling Colorado to Dale and JoAnn Krier.

She married the love of her life Robert Peabody on June 25, 1988. They shared many wonderful years of memories and 35 years of genuine love and laughter. 

Cindy was so kind and compassionate. She was a beautiful person inside and out.  She made an impact on many lives.

Cindy and Bob enjoyed spending time at the lake.  They also enjoyed competing in BBQ Competitions and won several trophies.

Cindy graduated in 1975 from Sterling High School.  She was an Office Manager for Lane Construction in Florida for several years.  Last year Cindy and Bob retired and moved back to Colorado.

Cindy is survived by her husband Bob,  Daughter Elizabeth Ruhle,  Colorado Springs, CO , her German Shepard Airamus; sisters Tamara (Rich Gutierrez, Brush, CO, Katrina Schott, Bernice Wiebers, Sterling, CO, brothers Gilbert (Randie) Krier, Alan (Vonda) Krier, Sterling, CO;  mother-In-Law Leora Peabody, Vancouver, WA, sister-In-Law Susan Peabody, Vancouver, WA, brothers-In Law William (Charlene) Peabody, Redding, CA, Michael Peabody, Vancouver, WA; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents. Dale and JoAnn Krier, sister Danette Krier, brother-In-Law Michael Schott, nephew Shawn Schott

A Celebration of Life for Cindy will be at a later date.
