CYNTHIA DALE "CINDY" THOMPSON A celebration of life potluck for Dove Creek resident Cynthia Dale "Cindy" Thompson will be held on Thursday, February 13 at the Dove Creek Community Center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cindy, as she was known to family and friends, was born on May 10, 1957 in Uravan, Colo. to William Emmett and Julia Orvilla (Smart) Moore. She passed away at her Dove Creek home on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at the age of 56. Always trying to keep her hands busy, Cindy spent much of her time doing beadwork, crocheting and playing computer games. She enjoyed being outdoors as well. Cindy had a big heart and will be greatly missed. Surviving Cindy is her son, Derek Thompson of Dove Creek; four brothers, Samuel Moore and wife, Cindy of Cortez, Gary Williams and wife, Darlene of Egnar, Colo., James Williams and Betty Gano of Grand Junction, Colo. and Rocky Moore of Farmington, N.M.; her sister, Susan Kendall and husband, Steve of Hotchkiss, Colo.; and one niece, Misty Williams of Oklahoma City, Okla.
