Corie Leanne Mcwilliams

Corie McWilliams was born in Bakersfield, California on August 31, 1979 and passed away March 11, 2020 in Cortez CO.
Corie loved to ride her bicycle, spend time with her cat Molly, and play Uno. She took pride in her ability to keep her house and loved to work in the yard. She occasionally spent time volunteering at the animal shelter and loved to play with pets and young children.
Her life was blessed by our community; especially the staff at Kokopelli, who kept her bicycle in tip-top condition. Corie was also greatly blessed by the New Covenant Fellowship church family.
She is survived by her parents, Slim and Sue McWilliams of Durango and family members Glenda Carter, Debbie and Roy Brandt, Deanne Clary, Mike and Sonya McWilliams, Shannon McWilliams, Sean McWilliams, Jessie and Paul Valdez, Erin and Dan McGuinness, and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews. She was loved by all.
The celebration of Corie’s life will be held at a later date.
