Clarene Lyall

CLARENE LYALL Graveside inurnment services for Cortez resident Clarene Lyall will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 26 at the Pine River Cemetery in Bayfield. Pastor Rick Gregory will officiate. Clarene was born on July 30, 1915 in Mancos the daughter of Frank and Cora (Wiser) Montgomery. She passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Vista Grande Inn at the age of 95. Clarene was a kind woman to all. She loved to knit and crochet and spend time fishing. Clarene was eager to share her time volunteering through the Southwest Memorial Hospital Auxiliary as a Pink Lady. Surviving Clarene are her grandchildren, Bethann Lyall, Frank Lyall, Becky Vient, and Larry Robinson; by two great-grandchildren; and by her son-in-law, Ronald Robinson of Cortez. Clarene was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband, Roy W. Lyall; by her children, Frank B. Lyall and Connie N. Robinson; by her step-son, William A. Holder; and by her siblings, William Montgomery and Nadine Hogue.
