CHRISTOPHER DEAN BANCROFT Funeral services for lifelong Towaoc resident Christopher Dean Bancroft will be held at 10 a.m. at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Towaoc Cemetery. Visitation has been scheduled for Monday morning at 9 a.m. at the funeral home. Chris was born October 15, 1987 in Shiprock, New Mexico the son of Freddie Gene and Erna Louise (Hardy) Bancroft. He passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Southwest Memorial Hospital at the age of 30. Surviving Chris are his parents, Freddie and Erna Bancroft of Towaoc; his girlfriend, Alyssa Whiteskunk of Towaoc; his son, Maddix Bancroft of Towaoc; his sisters, Cristalynn Bancroft, Karin Bancroft and Sharin Bancroft all of Towaoc; his half-siblings, Fredale Bancroft and Freana Bancroft both of Towaoc; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents, Juan Bancroft and Freddie Hardy; and by his aunts, Maryann Bancroft, Virginia McKewan, Florence Cuthair Bancroft Silas, and Pearl Laner.
