Christine B. Painter

CHRISTINE B. PAINTER Christine B. Painter was born on June 24, 1909 in Wilson County, Tenn. the daughter of Houston and Oza Mai (Allen) Thomas. She passed away on Friday, January 28, 2011 at Vista Grande Inn at the age of 101. In her free time, Christine loved solving crossword puzzles. Her pets held a special place in her heart. As a younger woman, Christine enjoyed riding horses. Surviving Christine are her loving daughter, Jean Guthrie and husband, Jim of Cortez; and her dear friends, Les and Sandy Slavens of Cortez. She was preceded in death by her parents; by her husbands, Freeman Eugene Gorman, Hayden D. Gorman, and Lewis R. Painter; by her step-son, Dona E. Gorman; and by her siblings, Robert Thomas and Tryphenia Ishler. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
