CHARLOTTE MAE BAXSTROM Memorial services for lifelong Cortez resident Charlotte Mae Baxstrom will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 13 at the Cortez Cemetery. Charlotte was born May 11, 1928 in Mancos, the daughter of Hiram Ensley Baker and Easter Hazel (Nelson) Baker. She passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the Vista Grande Inn at the age of 89. Surviving Charlotte are her ; her daughters, Janice Baxstrom (Al) Rodriguez of Mancos, Joyce Kirk (Dennis) of Golden Valley, Ariz. Charlotte has several grandchildren and great grand children. She was preceded in death by her husband Mervin Baxstrom; her sons, Jerrel Wayne Baxstrom and Thomas Harry Baxstrom; Granddaughter Kimberly Kirk; and two brothers George Baker and William Baker.
