Charlie Marion Rogers, Jr.

The family of Charlie Marion Rogers, Jr. invites all to a visitation Friday February 7, 2025 at Ertel Memorial Chapel from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services for Charlie, a Mancos resident will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Graveside services will follow at Summit Ridge Cemetery.

Charlie was born December 28, 1939, in Clovis, New Mexico the son of Charlie Rogers and Florine (Brooks) Rogers. He passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025 at Southwest Memorial Hospital at the age of 85.

Charlie loved fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. He and his father operated a farm on Summit Ridge until his father retired.

Surviving Charlie are his daughters Sandra Rogers of Mancos and Stephanie Rogers Johnson (Lee) of Seattle, WA; his grandson Alexander Johnson of Seattle, WA; and his siblings Cathy Shields of Hayward, CA and Daisy Collins of Cortez, CO.

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Ella Dee (Touchstone) Rogers; his son Ryan Lee; and his siblings Joan Forest, Janet Kittel, Elleanor Rogers, James Rogers and Helen Pilcher.
