Charles Terrance "Charlie" Lehi Sr.

CHARLES TERRANCE "CHARLIE" LEHI SR. Funeral services for lifelong Towaoc resident Charles Terrance "Charlie" Lehi Sr. will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 1 at the Towaoc Community Center. Interment will follow at Towaoc Cemetery. A Wake will take place Tuesday evening at 5:00 p.m. at the Towaoc Community Center. Charlie was born February 27, 1967 in Cortez the son of Bruce Donald Lehi and Helen Louise Knight. He passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Mercy Regional Medical Center at the age of 49. Charlie held various managerial positions at the casino. He enjoyed hand games, poker and gambling. Charlie was a wonderful cook and he loved to travel. Charlie was very handy and he was an artistic individual. He was the Fire Chief for Sundance and was a true leader that was very spiritual. Charlie was family oriented. Surviving Charlie are his father, Bruce Lehi of Towaoc; children, Charleen Lehi, Katherine Lehi, Charles Lehi Jr. and Charcie Lehi all of Towaoc, Jarius Lopez Lehi of Pagosa Springs, Colo., and Alana Lehi of Cortez; his grandchildren, Maximus Lehi Hatch and Neekah Arrates both of Towaoc; and by his siblings, Harvey Frost Jr. of Towaoc, Hanley Frost of Ignacio, Everisto Lehi of Cortez, Judy Lehi of Towaoc and Mitzi Doze of Phoenix, Ariz. Charlie was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Knight.
