Longtime area resident, Charles Anthony Thompson Sr., passed away on December 15, 2015 at Southwest Memorial Hospital at the age of 70. Cremation has taken place. Charles Anthony Thompson Sr. was born on January 26, 1945 in DeQueen, Ark. the son of Edgar Anthony and Charlene (Baker) Thompson. Charles was a member of the N.R.A. and was a lifetime logger. He enjoyed hunting, the outdoors and being in the woods. Charles' family was very important to him. Charles is survived by his mother, Charlene Thompson of Broken Bow, Okla.; his children, Charles A. Thompson, Jr. (Karleana) of Durango, John P. Thompson, Tyrel K. Thompson both of Mancos and Denise Caudle (David) of Broken Bow, Okla; his grandchildren, Scott Caudle, Beth Caudle, Kate Griffis, Dylan Thompson, Cody Thompson, Dylan William Clark, Lacrissa Angel Krafka and Adan J. Dennison; his four great grandchildren; and his sister, Carolyn Chandler (Roy Dal) of Eagletown, Okla. Charles was preceded in death by his father, Edgar Anthony Thompson.
