CECILIA MERCY ANN SUTTON Funeral services for Cecilia Mercy Ann Sutton will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 23 at Mountain View Community Church (formerly known as First Baptist Church of Oracle), 1175 N. Appleton Drive, Oracle, Ariz. Interment will follow at Oracle Cemetery. Visitation has been set for 10 a.m. Wednesday morning at the church. Cecilia was born August 7, 1920 in Rapid City, S.D. the daughter of Elmer and Charlotte May (Hull) Ellis. She passed away at Southwest Memorial Hospital in Cortez on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at the age of 95. Surviving Cecilia are her children, Carol Herndon and husband, Mike of Oracle, Ariz., Ellis "Gail" Sutton also of Oracle, and Glenna Smith and husband, Bob of Mancos, Colo.; and by eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren. Preceding Cecilia in death were her husband, Burton Charles Sutton; and her brother, Jason Ellis.
