Cecilia Anne (Hillerman) Grubbs

Cecilia Anne (Hillerman) Grubbs passed away peacefully in her sleep Sunday, March 6, 2016. Cecilia was born October 20, 1951 to Cecil and Nelda (Coffey) Hillerman in Ada, Oklahoma. She was raised in Oklahoma City and Tecumseh Oklahoma. She was an excellent cook, loved collecting cookbooks, had an exceptional "green thumb," enjoyed growing plants and was an avid reader and collector. Cecilia was preceded in death by her husband, George Grubbs; brother, Robert "Larry" Hillerman; grandparents, Josephine and Benedict Hillerman and Ples and Stella Coffey. Cecilia is survived by her daughters, Christy Washburn, Misty (Washburn) Ledbetter and Ashley (Ross) Brown of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Grandchildren Kristofer Washburn of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Cooper Washburn, Kytona and Jakob Ross, Skylar and Ayden Brown all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; parents Cecil and Nelda Hillerman, sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Randy Humphrey; brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Della Hillerman all of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; her many Colorado friends and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Cremation has taken place and she is now at rest with George.
