CATHERINE “CATHY” SKINNER Memorial services for Summit Ridge resident Catherine “Cathy” Skinner will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 13 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Rev. Bud Rousset will officiate. Cathy was born on October 9, 1925 in Cokedale, Colo., the daughter of William and Catherine (Ross) Sneddon. She passed away on Monday, July 9, 2007 at her residence at the age of 81. Cathy was involved with Operation Respect and United React. She was a devoted hunter safety instructor. Cathy had a great appreciation for art work and she enjoyed gardening. Surviving Cathy are her children, Kenneth “Bill” Skinner and wife, Shirlee of Granby, Colo., Irene Nichols and husband, David of Denver, Colo., Donald Skinner and wife, Linda of Denver, Colo., and Ron Skinner and wife, Pam of Summit Ridge; her sisters, Dorothy Hood of Denver, Colo., and Henrietta Hall of Pueblo, Colo.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth A. Eugene Skinner; her son, Robert Skinner; and her siblings, Jimmy and Joe Sneddon and Isabel Hegedorn.
