Carol J. Ireton

CAROL JEAN IRETON Graveside inurnment services for longtime Cortez, Colo. resident, Carol Jean Ireton will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at the Douglas Park Cemetery. Carol was born on April 17, 1940 in Great Falls, Mont. the daughter of Gene G. and Ollive Helen (Carroll) Armstrong. She passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2006 at her home at the age of 65. In 1959 at Choteau, Mont. Carol married Roy Ralph Ireton. She became a dedicated homemaker and loving mother who loved spending time with her family. She also had a passion for walking dogs. She spent her working career with the Montezuma County Health Department. Surviving Carol are her husband, Roy Ralph Ireton of Cortez; her children, Roy Alan Ireton of Dove Creek, and Colleen Carol Bush and husband, Craig of Gillette, Wyo. She leaves one granddaughter, Sarah Ireton; and her brother, Gary Armstrong and wife, JoAnn of Kamloops, B.C. Many extended relatives also survive Carol. Preceding her in death were her parents; and her brother, Ben Armstrong.
