Carol H. Dye

CAROL H. DYE Carol H. Dye was born August 22, 1937 in Sparks, Nevada to Wayne and Rebecca (Filler) Herberth. She passed away at her Pleasant View home on Monday, November 12, 2012 at the age of 75. Carol worked as a telephone operator for many years. Together with her soul mate Bill she traveled the West finding adventure along the way. Carol was a gifted artist and exemplified the Christian virtues of love and compassion. Carol touched and enriched the lives of all who knew her. She will be greatly missed. Surviving Carol are her daughters from her first marriage to Charles Leonard Smith, Mary Carol Snyder and husband, Kevin of South Carolina and Allison Kostrzewa and husband, Walter of Connecticut; her grandchildren, Kevin Jr. and Amanda Snyder, Sarah Harshbarger and husband, Frank, Faith Snyder, Mykel Kostrzewa, Kazia Kostrzewa, Samantha Kostrzewa and Savannah Kostrzewa; her great grandchildren Charlie Snyder and Ella Harshbarger. Also surviving Carol are her sister, Marian Rheinhart and husband, Wallace; her brother, Steve Herberth; and a large extended family. Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; her parents, Wayne and Rebecca Herberth; and her brother, Richard. A celebration of Carol's life was held November 16, 2012.
