BYRON VANCE FISH Graveside services for lifelong Cortez resident Byron Vance Fish will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 18 at the Fish Family Cemetery and Farm. Byron was born July 26, 1971 in Cortez the son of Glen Alfred and Sheila Kaye (Norris) Fish. He passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Southwest Memorial Hospital at the age of 45. Byron enjoyed time spent riding his motorcycle, tending to his cattle and camping. Byron was an accomplished backhoe operator as well. Surviving Byron are his wife, Anna Fish of Cortez; his parents, Glen and Sheila Fish of Cortez; his children, Joseph Fish, Alex Hess, and Emily Newton, all of Cortez; by his siblings, Perry Jones of Olathe, Colo., Melody Yeomans (Brett) of Cortez, Randall Matthews (Casandra) of Cortez, Cindy McClure of Cortez, and Wyatt Fish (Becky) of Cortez; and by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
