Bruce William Gray

BRUCE WILLIAM GRAY Visitation has been set for Bruce William Gray, 72 of Dolores, from 2 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Cremation will follow with private family services to be held. Bruce was born in Chula Vista, Calif. on June 26, 1942. He passed away at his Dolores home on Wednesday, June 10, 2015. Bruce was employed for many years as a truck mechanic and truck driver. In his spare time he was an avid reader and enjoyed repairing automobiles. Surviving Bruce are his spouse, Laurna (Buck) Gray of Dolores; his children, Laurinda Gray, Oralee Harris and Rubie Izad and husband, Shane, all of Cortez, Naomi Sheldon and husband, William of Dolores, and Angel Sanchez of Cortez; by 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild; and by his siblings, Flora Flaugh, Kathy Smith and husband, Boone, Steve Gray, Harold "Skip" Gray and wife, Della, and Virgil Gray and wife, Lorraine, all of Cortez, Wilburn "Web" Gray of Cortez, Mary Provstguard of Okagana, Wash., June Swanson and husband, Ever, of Hunstville, Ala., Harold Kelso of Montrose, and Gary Kelso of Delta, Colo. Bruce was preceded in death by his mother, Floralinda Annie (Hayes) Gray; by Forest Sulvanus Gray, the "father" that raised him; by two sons, Anthony William Gray and William Anthony Gray; and by his siblings, Bud Gray, Donald Kelso, Juanita Eline Walker, Janie Ann Gray, Faye Hackett, and Forest Leroy Gray.
