BRUCE ROBERT CLARK Memorial services for longtime Cortez resident, Bruce Robert Clark will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 20 at the Montezuma Valley Presbyterian Church. Bruce was born on Jan. 15, 1943 in Tacoma, Wash. the son of Robert and Anne (Stoddard) Clark. He passed away on Monday, March 15, 2004 in Durango at the age of 61. In 1965 Bruce moved to Cortez. August 28, 1965 Bruce married Sandra Flaugh. With this union two children were born, Herb and Sara. Bruce was a former employee of Bridgewater Construction, a job he liked very much. He loved trains and anything to do with railroads. Trucks and driving were also a love of his. Bruce was on the Planning and Zoning Commission and was a former city councilman. Surviving Bruce are his wife of 38 years, Sandra L. Clark of Cortez; his children, Herb Clark of Cortez and Sara Clark of Durango; his brother, Jack Clark of Boise, Ida.; mother-in-law, Wilma Flaugh of Cortez; two brother-in-laws, Don Flaugh and Von Flaugh; two uncles; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Sarah. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Bruce Clark with the American Heart Association, 1280 S.
