Bonnie Jacquelyn Boyce

BONNIE JACQUELYN BOYCE Bonnie Jacquelyn Boyce was born June 8, 1932 in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of Kermit and Eva (Harbough) Tillett. She passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at her home at the age of 85. Bonnie was always a strong woman with a heart of gold and a passion for animals, especially horses. You could find her even at 80 years old waking up at the crack of dawn and feeding all the animals on her ranch. She spent most of her life outdoors, enjoying the simple things in life and loved her family very much. Bonnie was close to her Bible and raised her family to love the Lord as well. As she got closer to her last days on earth she often brought up how much she missed her late husband, Loren, and she reminisced on all the fun they had together in this crazy thing we call life. I know he is there now welcoming her with open arms. Although Bonnie leaves us behind here in person, her spirit is never far behind. With open arms we pray the Lord accepts his child and we know she knows how much we all miss her down here on earth. Bonnie was married to Loren Francis Boyce on November 11, 1948 in Akron, Ohio. Surviving Bonnie are her children, Randolph Boyce and Shelley Calhoun both of Cortez; by her grandchildren, Brooke Smith (Jerry) of Cortez; by great- grandchildren, Kendall Calhoun Sanchez (Kameron), Bryant Smith, Kanon Smith all of Cortez; and one great-great-granddaughter Lyric Mott.
