BOBBY GENE MCKEWAN A visitation will be held for lifelong Towaoc resident Bobby Gene McKewan from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, October 6 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Private interment will take place at the Towaoc Cemetery. Bobby was born on March 9, 1952 in Cortez, the son of Richard and Virginia (Bancroft) McKewan. He passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2006 at his residence at the age of 54. Bobby was a very talented and special man. He liked working on cars and motorcycles, his mechanic skills were beyond compare. Bobby was a gifted musician, he had the ability to play the guitar, the harmonica and to sing. He was a helping hand to his family, he took part in babysitting and helping to raise his nieces and nephews. Bobby had many friends in Cortez that he liked to visit. He was a good natured person who always knew when to make someone laugh.
