Bob D. Slough

BOB D. SLOUGH

  A celebration of the life of Bob D. Slough will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 20^th at Ertel Memorial Chapel, Cortez, CO. 

  Bob was born November 21, 1937, in Dawson, TX, the son of Richard D. Slough and Thekla Ida Martha (Huse) Slough. He passed away at Four Corners Regional Care Center in Blanding, UT on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at the age of 86. 

  On April 8, 1961, Bob married Twila Jean Hall. Together they shared 48 years of marriage; thirty of the years were spent working together in Bob’s law office. He loved hiking in the mountains and spending time outside with his horse. 

  Surviving Bob are his three children; Robin Wolcott of Mancos, Stephanie Slough of Mancos, and Chris Slough (Yvonne) of Frankfurt, Germany; by two grandchildren, Ben Wolcott (Sensa) of Mancos and Erin Wolcott of Mancos; and two great-grandchildren, Aurelia Wolcott and Annabel Wolcott also of Mancos. Bob was preceded in death by his wife Twila and his parents.
