Billy Ray Polston

Billy Ray Polston was born December 13, 1932, in Shreveport, Louisiana the son of Vernon Claude Godwin and Lucy Polston. He passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at his residence at the age of 85.
Billy married Doris Camp April 7, 2006 in Farmington, New Mexico. He was a longstanding member of ECV, The Ancient and Honorable Order of E Clampus Vitus which is a fraternal organization dedicated to the study and preservation of the heritage of the American West, especially the history of the Mother Lode and gold mining regions of the area. He was also known to be very crafty and capable of making most anything.
Surviving Billy are his wife of 12 years, his sons William and Michael Polston, both of Oakland, Tennessee and his daughter Cynthia Putt of Byhalia, Mississippi. Billy was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Coleen Johnston and Janice Benscoter.
