Bill J. Dye

BILL J. DYE Bill J. Dye was born on January 24, 1940 in Narrows, Va. to Graham and Beulah Gay (Hall) Dye. He passed away on October 25, 2011 at the Vista Grande Inn at the age of 71. Bill was a construction Superintendant in the 1960's building subdivisions. Later in life he went into heavy high construction in the West. Bill married Carol Lynne Herberth in Casper, Wyo. on April 7, 1980. He enjoyed hunting, boating, and camping in the mountains. Bill also loved fall colors. Surviving Bill are his wife, Carol Dye of Pleasant View; his children, GayeLynne Parten of Angleton, Tex., and Travis Dye and wife, Millie of Virginia; his step-children, David Saleeba and wife, Julie, Mary Carol Snyder and husband, Kevin both of South Carolina, and Allison Kostrzewa and husband, Walter of Connecticut; his grandchildren, Michael and Ashlee Greak, Christian Dye, Lucas Stevers, Justin, David Saleeba III, Donald Saleeba, Kevin Snyder Jr. and wife, Amanda, Sarah, Faith and Charlie Snyder, Mykel, Kazia, Samantha, and Savannah Kostrzewa; and by a large extended family. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Graham and Beulah Dye; his step father, Theodore Petrie; his grandparents, who raised him, John and Katherine Hall; and his brother Jack Dye.
