BEVERLY JANE KNUCKLES REED Memorial services for longtime Egnar resident Beverly Jane Knuckles Reed will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 8 at the Paonia Assembly of God Church. A meal and reception will follow the service. Pastor Marvin Pemberton will officiate. Beverly was born November 21, 1938 in Hotchkiss, Colo. the daughter of Charles Roy and Bertha (Shearer) Reed. She passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2013 in Dove Creek at the age of 74. Beverly loved taking country rides. She enjoyed the beauty of flowers and time spent reading, solving crossword puzzles, and hunting brought Beverly much happiness. Surviving Beverly are her children, Kenneth Davis and wife, Sherry of Thompson, Utah, Kathy Holman of Egnar, Colo. and Don J. Davis of Egnar, Colo.; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; by her siblings, Fred Reed of Hotchkiss, Colo., Bertha Ayers of Dove Creek, and by Ermine Durfee of Grand Junction, Colo.; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; by her son, Richard L. Davis III; and by three grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made in Beverly Jane Knuckles Reed's name to the Egnar Fire Department.
