BETTY LOU DeROSIER Funeral services for former Cortez resident, Betty Lou DeRosier will be held at 10 .m. Saturday, April 21 at the Cortez Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Empire Street Chapel. Interment will follow at Cortez Cemetery. Betty Lou was born July 5, 1929 the eldest child of Vernon and Chloe Dove (Slade) Willden in Kline, Colo. She passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2007 in Pickerington, Ohio. Betty Lou married Theodore A. “Ted” DeRosier on Jan. 8, 1951 in Cortez. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on June 11, 1954. Surviving Betty Lou are her husband of 56 years, Ted DeRosier of Pickerington, Ohio; her children, Vernon Alex DeRosier of Ogden, Utah, Cheryl Anne DeRosier of San Antonio, Texas, Donald Lee DeRosier of Hamilton, Ohio, and Brenda Lou Janke and husband, Daniel of Pickerington, Ohio; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and her siblings, Keith Willden of Fort Worth, Texas, Janette Taylor of Cortez, and Nadine Lichliter of Farmington, N.M.
