BETTY HELEN LANSING Funeral services for Aneth resident Betty Helen Lansing will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, September 25 at the Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at the Lansing Family Cemetery in Aneth, Utah. Betty was born on October 18, 1937 in Tes Nez Iah, Ariz., the daughter of Crooked Neck Boy. She passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at the Vista Grande Nursing Home at the age of 68. Surviving Betty are her husband, John R. Lansing of Aneth; her children, Russell Lansing and wife, Evangeline of Kirtland, N.M., Harriett Lansing and husband, Tony Yazzie, Heather Tolth and husband, DeJuan, and Tina Lansing and husband, Duane Lee, all of Aneth, Wanda Lansing of Blanding, Utah, Pearl Lee and husband, Roland of Dolores, and Ursula Lansing of Aneth. She also leaves behind her sister, Lillie Begay of Mexican Water, Ariz.; and 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Ross Lansing in July 2006.
