Berneice Louise Berger

BERNEICE LOUISE BERGER Berneice Louise Berger was born on September 28, 1919 in Abilene, Kans. the daughter of John Theodore and Anna Marie (Haslouer) Kohman. She passed away at the age of 86 on Thursday, December 29, 2005 at the Valley Inn Nursing Home. On January 24, 1948 at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Abilene, Kans. Berneice married Don Berger. She was an active member of the Ladies of St. Andrew Catholic Church. She also loved baseball; she was an avid Kansas City Royals fan. Some of her favorite pastimes included fishing, sewing, baking and card playing. Berneice is survived by her two children, Mike Berger and wife, Joyce of Mancos, and Sharon Meadows and husband, Bob of Abilene, Kans. She leaves three grandchildren, Rob Meadows of Abilene, Kans., David Berger of Durango, and Lauri Berger of Mason, Tex. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Don; and her brothers, Lester Kohman, Calvin Kohman, and Hank Kohman. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Abilene, Kans.
