Benjamin Sanchez

Benjamin Sanchez was born January 13, 1932 in Lumberton, NM the son of Salvador and Ascencion (Valdez) Sanchez. He passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the Vista Grande Inn in Cortez, CO. Benjamin married Tony Eleanor (Romero) Sanchez, on May 15, 1961 in Aztec, NM. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for most of his life and it was something that he loved doing. He also enjoyed 4-wheeling, hunting and fishing in his free time. Surviving Benjamin are his children, Marvin Sanchez (Genny) of Cortez, Melvin Sanchez ( Teresa) of Cortez, Gary Sanchez of Salt Lake City, UT and Pam Lambright of Kuna, ID; his grandchildren, Colt Sanchez, Randi Goff, Kody Sanchez, Kameron Sanchez, Traven Sanchez, Carvin Sanchez, Steven Mast, Stephanie Mast, Adam Sanchez and Jennie Sorensen; great-grandchildren, Adrian Sanchez, Joseph Sanchez and Ivanez Sanchez; and siblings, Truiva Trujillo of Cortez and Lilly Waldren of Salt Lake City, UT. He was preceded in death by his parents, Salvador and Ascencion Sanchez; his spouse, Tony Eleanor (Romero) Sanchez; and his siblings, Willy Sanchez, Delphin Sanchez, Juanita Perea, Hank Sanchez and Sally Montoya.
