Graveside services for Barbara June Rants will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2 at Cortez Cemetery. Marvin Graves will officiate. Barbara June Rants was born on June 5, 1932 in Moab, Utah the daughter of James and Hazel Ruth Lawson Howard. She passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at the age of 83. Barbara June Howard married Donald Rants on December 3, 1948. She enjoyed crocheting, canning, and cooking. She also won many blue ribbons in the County Fair. Barbara is survived by her children, Donna Steerman, Ruth Hover, Wanda Holsey and Arthur Rants; her six grandchildren; her seven great grandchildren and her one great great grandchild. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, James and Hazel Lawson and her husband, Donald Rants.
