Barbara Jo 'Bobby Jo' Ertel

Funeral services for Barbara Jo ‘Bobby Jo’ Ertel will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 3, 2022 at Ertel Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Cortez Cemetery.
Bobby Jo was born July 7, 1928 in Texhoma, OK the daughter of Herbert Guy and Helen Pauline (Thompson) Gafford. She passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, December 28, 2021 at Hope West Hospice in Grand Junction, CO at the age of 93.
Surviving Bobby Jo are her loving husband of 75 years, Walter Ertel of Grand Junction, CO; her children, Debbie Keller (Chuck) of Grand Junction, CO, and Keenan Ertel (Beverlee) of Cortez, CO; her grandchildren, Brad Keller (Stephanie) of Grand Junction, CO, Jon Keller (Cassie) of Grand Junction, CO, Kinsey Ertel (Donnie Tanner) of Cortez, CO, Tyson Ertel (Brittanie Hager) of Grand Junction, CO; and her great grandchildren, Jacob Keller, Matthew Keller, Gareth Keller, Oliver Keller, Kaden Huff, Kamdynn Hager, and Keagan Ertel Moralez. Bobby Jo was preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Douglas Gafford, Buster Gafford, Jerry Gafford, and Donald Gafford.
