Barbara Jean Presley

Barbara Jean (Brazle) Presley passed away peacefully at her home in Cortez Colorado surrounded by family on March 24, 2021 at the age of 86.
Barbara was born on August 5, 1934 in Ackman (Pleasant View) Colorado to Bill and Bertha Brazle. Barbra was a lifelong resident of the area, attending school in Pleasant View and Cortez. Barbara married Jack on April 8, 1960 in Cortez Colorado where they raised their three children together.
Anyone who knew Barbara, knew you could always find her at one of the local coffee shops enjoying a cup of coffee with friends and family. Barbara also enjoyed knitting, playing cards with her cousins, baking, attending church service, and spending time with her family and friends.
Barbra was more than a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she was a friend. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jack Presley of Cortez; her children, Karna Ward (Rocky) of Cortez, Kevin Presley (Joyce) of Colorado Springs, Kari Calhoon (Duane) of Cortez; eleven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, William (Bill) Owen and Bertha Mae (Randol) Brazle of Pleasant View, CO.
No services are planned. The family asks that memorial contributions be made in Barbara’s name to Hospice of Montezuma, PO Box 740, Cortez, CO 81321.
